Where's The News?

You may have noticed that the efforts to create an aggregated news page on this site have all ceased the past few months. The explanation is simple: I couldn't continue looking at the social media where I would gather up these headlines. Social media is a machine that is designed to give everyone the worst thing they've ever heard, every single day. And I am in one of the demographics with the greatest competition for that category, where there is rarely ever a clear winner.

I will be resuming some activity here, but I will likely miss a great deal of what is happening. Please feel free to get in touch if there's a story you think I should share.

The main new activity for this website will be a podcast. It's sort of like the times that I've written about music, but you'll get to hear my voice, and you'll be forced to listen to the music that I'm talking about rather than just going "oh wow, that sounds cool, I should listen to it sometime". No. You will listen to it now. But I understand that some people are in too much of a hurry to listen to a full podcast, so the scripts will be posted here as well. But you should listen to it as a podcast. The first episode is online now, you can check the blog page or check the mixcloud account, which will host the 10 most recent episodes (I am not paying for a full mixcloud account). All other episodes will be archived on this website.
